Every upgrade starts with a free written audit of your versions, packages and blockers. One major version up is $1,500 and a full upgrade from Laravel 8 or later is $3,500. If the audit shows the app won't fit a fixed price, we say so and quote a range before you pay anything.
The work happens on a copy and is tested on staging. Going live is a normal deploy in a window you choose, and we stay on it afterwards. A 30-day fix warranty covers anything the upgrade broke.
We write smoke tests for the parts that make or lose money first: logins, checkout and billing, and the admin. They run on every version step, and you keep them afterwards.
The current Laravel needs PHP 8.3 or newer. We work with your host to move the server, or move the app to hosting that supports it.
Yes. The onboarding audit recovers access to the code, server, domain and payment accounts, reviews security and gives you a written plan. It's $500, and free after an upgrade with us.
New features, and front-end rewrites such as Vue 2 to Vue 3, are quoted separately. Care plans don't include overnight on-call cover.
